About OMNHS ARCHIVES

Occidental Mindoro National High School (OMNHS) Archives is a pioneering effort aimed at archiving research contributions to heighten innovation, vision, and the education system. Established to empower students and faculty in their academic pursuits, OMNHS Archives serves as a central hub for preserving and disseminating scholarly works and innovative projects. Launched with a vision for advancing educational excellence, OMNHS Archives embodies a commitment to fostering a culture of research and innovation within the institution. The OMNHS Archives initiative is driven by the following objectives:

VISION (Virtual Integrated System for Innovation, Outreach, and Networking): VISION serves as the digital backbone of OMNHS Archives, providing an integrated platform for students and faculty to collaborate, share ideas, and access resources. Through VISION, users can engage in virtual networking, participate in collaborative projects, and explore innovative solutions to educational challenges.

 

2. INNOVATE (Initiative for Nurturing Novel Educational Technologies and Experiments): INNOVATE focuses on promoting creativity and experimentation in educational practices. This component of OMNHS Archives encourages students and faculty to explore new approaches to teaching and learning, leveraging technology and innovative methodologies to enhance educational outcomes.

 

3. ENRICH (Education, Networking, Research, and Innovation Center for Holistic Learning): ENRICH serves as a multifaceted resource center within OMNHS Archives, offering support and guidance to students and faculty engaged in research and innovation activities. 4. DISCOVER (Digital Information System for Collaborative Observation, Verification, and Exploration of Research): DISCOVER is the primary interface for accessing and exploring the wealth of research contributions housed within OMNHS Archives. This component provides users with intuitive search functionalities, enabling them to discover relevant research materials, verify sources, and explore interdisciplinary connections.

Mission Statement of OMNHS ARCHIVES:By 2026, Occidental Mindoro National High School's Research Center aims to establish itself as a leading research institution, recognized for its commitment to pioneering technological innovations and generating transformative knowledge within MIMAROPA and the Philippines. Our focus is on engaging students in qualitative and quantitative studies across various educational tracks prescribed by the Department of Education, with the goal of driving social and economic development.
